POC Real Estate: A Project of Digitalization and Efficiency Improvement

About POC
POC Real Estate is a real estate developer with its registered office in Roeselare, which focuses on creating unique and sustainable residential projects on both the Belgian and Polish coasts. We strive to provide added value each time by delivering tailor-made solutions that perfectly meet the needs of the customer and the environment and in this way realize the residential dream of our customers within the right social context.
Challenges
POC Real Estate faced several challenges:
- There was a clear need for structured processes.
- The software used was not future-proof.
- There was an overload of Excel files with often the same information, leading to inefficiencies.
- An accurate and efficient reporting tool was needed.
- There was a need to centralize and smartly structure data so that each stakeholder could understand the progress of the project development process at any time. This includes tracking and monitoring deadlines and milestones achieved.

Solutions offered
Sofatech proposed an integrated solution consisting of:
- Implementation of ODOO, making maximum use of the standard functionalities, supplemented by customization for our specific business needs.
- A reporting tool, Emasphere, that retrieves data from ODOO.
- Retain some existing tools such as Ziggu and Let's Build.
Impact on Business
The first steps have been taken and ODOO is now operational for our finance department. This transition went smoothly thanks to the good training and guidance provided by Sofatech. We now have a future-proof tool that makes it possible to record our data transparently and in detail. Workshops have been organized for the other departments in order to search, together with Sofatech, for the optimal working method to follow our entire development process in ODOO.
Added value of the Solution
While it is still early to assess the full impact, we are already seeing the benefits of a streamlined financial process.
